Keepsake or die, journaling. Which one is it? It’s that great debate that we have between the procrastinators and the fans of the bullet journal.
The reasons for why people love bullet journals seem to change depending on what question you ask. My point is: do we all love bullet journals? I have personally seen more friends with the journal than without it.
My friends love the bullet journal because it’s such a simple and effective method for keeping track of everything. All it takes is a piece of paper and an index card to help organize your day. With that little extra incentive to be organized, that’s not bad at all.
However, others will tell you that the bullet journal is boring and does nothing to help you with whatever task you are doing. I’m not sure if this is true or if it’s just the fact that some people get turned off by all the quotes. Some people believe that writing about what you want or need to do is the worst thing you can do. For those people, I’m sure that the bullet journal will have the same effect.
At the end of the day, the bullet journal is not without its upsides. You don’t need to pay someone else to keep it, and you can keep it at your home if you decide to. For me, I find it so easy to write down all the stuff I want to remember that I do it a couple times a week. But to each their own. I just wish they could write more.
For my benefit, I find the bullet journal to be very inspiring. I read my pages in the morning when I get up, and when I dogo to bed, I keep them right there on my desk where I keep my journals. That’s good inspiration to get started off right.
Those quotes are actually quite inspirational. When I read a quote from a person that inspires me, I see that person as a person of greatness. If you read a quote that inspires you, it’s like you are going to reach that pinnacle of greatness.
I have my list, but I don’t always fill it in. Sometimes, I don’t know what it is I really need to do today. Some days are stressful and I am torn between doing something and then having to go to work. I sometimes get so stressed out that I just can’t think straight and sometimes that’s where the inspiration comes in.
Other times, I have a very long to-do list. That has been my problem. Reading the quotes from the great men and women in my life, helping me stay centered and calm, has helped me put things into perspective.
Inspire yourself. Find a quote every morning that inspires you. Keep it somewhere where you can see it every morning.
One day, I’ll share the inspiration layout quotes with you. Until then, keep doing what you are doing. Keep writing, keep filling your pages, and keep getting inspired.
